As inventors, JGU members are obliged under the German Employee Invention Act to report their invention to the university. We advise you in formulating your invention disclosure, take over and finance the filing of possible patent applications and support you in the commercial exploitation of your invention. Together with you, we develop individual patent strategies and create license models, which we negotiate with exploitation partners. We support spin-offs with startup friendly IP conditions when transferring their inventions into practice. Further information can be found in the Further Information section.

For companies, we offer a portfolio of technology offerings for licensing or purchase. We also provide support in establishing contact with scientists at JGU and in drawing up contracts for collaborations, contract research and scientific services.
