“ScienceFEE” stands for “Science Female Entrepreneurship Empowerment.” This is the name of the project led by JGU Mainz as part of the “exist Women” program funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs. The program is open to all topics and technologies. The focus here is not yet on a finished business plan, but on unlocking potential: We help participants test their ideas, build their networks, and take their first steps as entrepreneurs. Participants take part in a 9-month training program—featuring workshops, mentoring, networking, and individual supervision. The program ends on December 31, 2026.

At JGU, the program is run in cooperation with the Rhine-Main Universities, Mainz University of Applied Sciences and Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences.


The program is aimed at women from the academic environment of Johannes Gutenberg University.
